Years ago, when I was a little girl, I loved to draw. Princesses and ponies and whatever kids like. I couldn't stop. All through school and high-school, I drew. Doodles on every piece of paper I was ever handed. And then I just stopped.

Five years later I'm still wondering why. I'd love to pick this hobby up again. I'd love to improve, and make something I can enjoy and be proud of. Maybe even something that others will enjoy as well.

I'm going to do something that I'd normally be afraid to. I'll post old sketches and doodles - even ancient ones - and hopefully I'll be able to see that progress was made. In turn, maybe this will inspire med to get back in the game, have fun and learn new things.

We'll see.

Don't ever be scared to post old art, you silly thing! It's very brave of you! You have no need to be intimidated, anyway, the drawings you've posted are delightful! I like your grasp of form and your style is gorgeously cartoony. I'm sure I won't be the only one to encourage you in every way to take up the old hobby again. You were very good, and you'll only get better.

Thank you. You're very encouraging, and it means the world to me. It's definitely my goal to start drawing again, and as you said, you'll only improve by practising. Hopefully, some day I'll evolve past the sketching stage and actually being inking/colouring again!
